The Deneiko Family has been raising simmental cattle for over

40 years. FOUR D RANCH came into operation with its first Fullblood cattle in 2000.

      We purchased our first group of bred heifers from Rollie and Marion Nordell of Turtleford Sask. As  time went on we added some Red Factor cows into our herd. A few years later Bev decided we should introduce  the Black Simmental to our red cows, Wow.



     At present our herd consists of about 80 Fullblood/Purebred cows and 40 commercial simmental cows. Our herd is bred to calf in Jan/ Feb. We use a group of our own herd bulls (purchased from other purebred herds) and add a mixture of A.I. bulls  for new blood lines.



     In our spare time from the cattle operation we also run a grain farm which consists of about 1400 acres of grain land and 500 acres of tame hay.

     Our herd  numbers are kept up by only keeping the best of the best of our replacement heifers and puchasing afew bred ones in the fall to add different blood lines into our herd.
